About
Born into a creative family, art has always been a major part of my life. I started with drawings and gradually worked my way up into painting. In high school I quickly fell in love with creating portraits. I believe there is beauty in the expression of one's eyes, and I love the challenge of showing it in a piece of art. My main fine art focus for the last few years has been ceramics, and I am a member at a studio in Vancouver. To view my work, visit JPartandceramics.com.
I started working in the film industry in 2015, and I have enjoyed every moment. I started as a background performer, stand in and photodouble and it has led me to pursure principle acting. In 2017, I signed with an acting agency for principle work, and began slowly building my principle acting resumé with small roles and taking classes. In 2022 booked the lead role on two projects, Sunflower Lemonade (TV Pilot) and Lola Dust (an Independent movie). I am currently represented by Nuance Talent Management in Vancouver, BC.
My first modelling experience was for a hair salon in Saskatoon, SK. I was twelve years old. Growing up shy, I didn't venture further into the modelling world until a few years later, when I met our family friend, Jennilee (@vampmakeup). She is a make-up artist and asked my sisters and I to do a shoot with her. I then worked on projects with her here and there throughout my time in Saskatoon, and it really helped me come out of my shell. In Vancouver I have worked on collaborations and further expanded my portfolio. In 2016 I got to work on my first music video ("Ill Wind" by Jody Glenham and the Dreamers), did my first runway show (for Herschel Supply and Co. Product Launch), and joined the Nobasura: Rad Kids agency. After Rad Kids closed their modeling division, I reperesented myself for bookings for a while. In 2019, life came full circle when the incredible woman who hired me for my first paid gig in Vancouver (Mila, for the Herschel Runway show), opened her own agency Legends Cafe. I have been represented by them ever since
In my spare time I like to read, sew, knit, cook... (you know, all the basic granny lifestyle things) and collaborate with creative people. I also started a podcast named "I'm An Adult, Now What?" aimed at young adults, with the goal of helping people figure out adulthood, share self-help ideas, and hopefully help listeners view life in a new way.
I created this website so I could have an online portfolio. Thanks for stopping by!
